Are You Ready For SUCCESS?

Everything that happens to us happens on purpose. Sometimes, one thing leads to another. Instead of locking yourself up in your cage of fears and crying over past heartaches, embarrassment and failures, treat them as your teachers and they will become your tools in both self improvement and success.
*Stop thinking and feeling as if you’re a failure, because you’re not. How can others accept you if you can not except you AND if you can not..... DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

*When you see the, "beautiful ones" on TV, think more on self improvement, not self pitying. Self acceptance is not just about having nice slender legs, or great abs. Concentrate on inner beauty. Inner beauty is lasting. After the body has started to fatten your mind will be your safe zone.

*When people feel so down and low about themselves, help them move up. Don’t go down with them. They’ll pull you down further and both of you will end up feeling inferior.

*The world is a large room for lessons, not mistakes. Don’t feel stupid and doomed forever just because you failed on a science quiz. There’s always a next time. Make room for self improvement.

* Recently someone very close to me admitted to their fear of rejection and failure. Because of their fear they wanted to stay in the background. Failure is the only thing that will lead to success. Learning how to ride a bike comes from many falls but, once you learn how you never forget.

* Set meaningful and achievable goals. Self improvement doesn’t turn you into someone else. It results in an improved and better YOU.

*Little things are BIG to other people. Sometimes, we don’t realize that the little things that we do impact others.  Saying “hi” or “hello” or greeting someone with“good day” or telling Mr. Smith something like “I like your tie!” are simple things: But, they mean so much to other people. When we’re being appreciative about beautiful things around us and other people, we also become beautiful to them.

  Where Do We Start?

Self improvement results in inner stability, personal development and success. Self improvement is a one day at a time process. It leads to self confidence, self appreciation and self esteem.

Changes do not happen over one night but the valuable life changes that we gain open our doors for self improvement and increase our chances to head down the road of success.
May your life grow in its' success,

What Makes You Tick?

The motto for the Army is, "Be All You Can Be". Do you find yourself somewhat content with your life just the way things are?  Of course it's hard to think of anything else when life just keeps beating you down. So, let me ask you...what makes you tick?

For me, I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful. We are all drowning in debt and problems. Honestly, it shouldn't  stop us from becoming all we can and ought to be. The aspirations we had as kids should continue to live within us.  Hold on to your dreams.

They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks… I say the challenge of tomorrow makes today special. In every new day seek to learn something new!

Are You Motivated To Succeed?

Here's 9 Questions to Ask Yourself:

1. What Do I Really Want?

The question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Find something that you are good at and take small steps towards reaching the mark. Diligence is the key.

2. Should I Really Change?

Today's generation has taken another level of redefining 'self', or at least that's what the kids are saying.

Never be afraid to admit that you are wrong and while you are at it do something about it. Make positive changes in your life that will enable you to enjoy life and feel good about yourself.

3. Is There a Bright Side To My Life?

With so much happening around us there seems to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. Is there a light anywhere in your life?

Carry your own light and let it SHINE..not just for you but for those around you also.

4. Am I Comfortable With What I'm Doing?

There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to making and carrying out decisions. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself as someone unique. Be unique and stand out for what is right in the crowd. Don't just follow stupidity and ignorance.

5. Have I Done Enough For Myself?

Have you, or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

Be who you are and stand for who you are.

6. Am I Happy Where I Am Today?

It's an unfair question if you do not think you can do anything about it. Never be satisfied with the now....always seek to expand and broaden your life.

7. Am I Appealing To The Opposite Sex?

Do we ever stop asking this question no matter how old we get. Do I still look good to you! Even though I am old and gray hey..I can still play. Let your inside out and let your life experience real love.

8. What Motivates Me?

What motivates you? That is the million dollar question. So what are you going to do about it?

9. What Really Makes You Tick?

What makes you sit up; get up; jump up and say... YEAH BABY!

You can be just about anything you want to be.
That special something that makes you happy can only be found inside of you.... because only you know what- makes- you- tick!

Start Taking Control

Positive thinking and self motivation can help turn challenges into victories. Turn even the frustration of defeat and loss into a builder of inner strength. Start taking control of your life, enjoy life.

Practicing positive thinking allows people to focus on their strengths and accomplishments, which increases happiness and motivation. This, allows you to spend more time making progress, and less time feeling down and out.

Take the time to shift into more positive thinking patterns by following these 10 steps:

1. Take Good Care of Yourself :
Eat well, exercising, and get enough rest.

2. Be Grateful For the Good Things in Your Life :
Constantly remind yourself of the things that are right in your life.
Stop and appreciate the good things.

3. Look for Proof Instead of Making Assumptions :

What we fear is often not reality. Don't fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back.  Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF!

5. Turn From Negative Thoughts :
Your thoughts can only hold power over you if you let them. If you notice yourself  having a negative thought, drop it, don't follow it.

6. Show Affirmations of Love by Touch and Words :
Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is good for the soul.

7. Get Social :
Seek social activity and you decrease loneliness. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

8. Volunteer and Help Someone Else :
Everyone feels good after helping someone that is in need. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources.

9. Do Something Different :
Go for a walk or sit outside.  Call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music. Take a trip!
Get away from the ordinary and do something crazy.......just don't hurt yourself or someone else.

10. Start Taking Control :
I mean it is your life......find a way to enjoy it
